Who we are
VeloLove is a nonprofit cycling club in Utah County dedicated to fostering a love for cycling since 2014. Our club enriches the community by offering twice-weekly rides, engaging in trail building and maintenance, and providing various outreach initiatives. We also host training sessions throughout the winter, spring, and summer, along with local and national racing opportunities. VeloLove Philosophy
-
We encourage youth to explore the outdoors, embrace new challenges, and develop a lifelong passion for adventure. Each ride is an opportunity to discover the beauty of nature and push personal boundaries.
-
We strive to create a welcoming environment for all young riders, regardless of skill level, background, or experience. Our club values diversity and promotes teamwork, friendship, and mutual support.
-
We teach the importance of environmental stewardship. Members learn to respect trails, wildlife, and ecosystems, promoting sustainable practices that ensure our natural playgrounds are preserved for future generations.
-
Through mountain biking, we encourage youth to build confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills. Each ride offers lessons in perseverance, responsibility, and self-discovery.
-
Above all, biking is about having fun! We foster a positive, enthusiastic atmosphere where laughter and enjoyment are integral to every ride and event.
Our Teams
Youth Team
Our Youth Team is for young riders of all ability levels in grades K-7.
Youth athletes ride in an appropriate skill-level group on local trails twice a week from the spring to the fall and participate in trail work days, and community outreach events.
We provide skills training and learning opportunities throughout the season.
Elite Team
Our Elite Team is for older youth riders in grades 7-12. These are athletes who want to take their riding to the next level by participating in off-season training and early season races before the NICA season begins.
Elite athletes participate in trail work days, community outreach events, and a team camp in St. George which focuses on skill development.
